Popular Yoruba actor Arakangudu whose real name is Sikiru Adeshina has passed away.

The talented actor died yesterday (February 8) in Kaduna state after he suffered a heart attack.

His remains will be buried in his hometown in Osun state.

Arakangudu is famous for his role as a herbalist in Yoruba movies in the 90s. Before his death there were rumours that the once popular actor had retired from acting.

Arakangudu did not reveal why he had stopped appearing in movies within the last few years.
